In life, you realize there is a role for everyone you meet. At the end of our time together, I’d like to say we became friends. I want to bring out the best in you and provide a safe space for you to unfold — stripping down to the most authentic version of yourself and seeing it as brilliant and valuable. While the world will do its best to define you, every fiber of our being is designed with a purpose: greatness. Our experience together will hopefully allow you to see your purest self; greatness at the core and perfectly YOU.
Friendship
Trust that “being” is enough. There won’t be any fixed poses or awkward moments, so you can exhale and release your worries. Together we will capture those purest and most organic moments. If I’m not saying anything then you’re doing great. I will provide gentle directions throughout our entire session together. You don’t need to worry about capturing that perfect angle or perfect lighting. Who you are is perfect, just simply “be” with the people you love most, and I’ll do the rest.
Guidance
There’s a reason our province is called Beautiful British Columbia. Growing up so intimately with nature, it truly feels like my second home which I am grateful for. Capturing those authentic moments during sessions requires that perfect backdrop. Luckily for you, I have a wonderful list of tried and tested locations. Together we will find the perfect spot to capture you and your loved ones.
Location
Loving yourself through motherhood is oftentimes difficult to put into reality. We transition to become self-sacrificing and risk losing ourselves along the way. I’ve discovered in my own journey as a mother of three that the challenge is not to strive to be who we once were before motherhood but instead to rediscover the beauty and greatness within us by stripping away the labels and removing the pressure to blend in. A mother should feel peace within her own skin and truly love herself. As you do, I believe you will live more freely and glow with new light. My purpose within my photography would be fulfilled to be a part of this moment
